Running
I'm dabbling a little... one of these days I want to glide along. Yesterday's bike ride, Christmas party, dancing, anti-hydrating beverages and bed time didn't really help the glide. I'm learning old lessons again. I like 1% up more than 1% down, I like variation in terrain vs plain roads, but either way I think preparing in advance for the on foot portions of the Yak Attack is wise. California running seemed easy - we went slow and were at sea level. Here I'm not her at something that works with aerobic capacity, I'm still trying to get the legs past feeling like cement stage (it's only week three; one was treadmill, two was California, all intentionally short "build up and don't mess up your limbs" efforts).
