Listened to Lawrence Hill, an author who wrote "The Book of Negroes" today at lunch. Like many creative minds, he was inspiring to listen to. I could listen to him for hours, but alas, work was calling...
He humorously points out that African History month in Canada is the coldest and shortest month of the year, February, when half his black friends vacation in the Carribean or south US if they have the means.
He reminded us that wine is for drinking with friends, and that water is for washing your feet. And to do your best to live well, and love well.
